Hey guys,

So I've tried searching what would cause this issue with it not starting, and either the thread drops off, or I can't find an answer. I just swapped a stage 2 clutch in the car and everything is hooked up right, but it still won't start. It cranks and sputters like it wants to, but then it floods itself out. I swapped the ect with a new one and had no luck, so I'm at a loss. I have the cam/crank sensors on the way, but from my understanding I have to do the timing belt to swap one of them?? Any help would be appreciated, as the car ran before the swap.
 
If the car was running as it should before replacing the clutch, then should check again if you are not missing to reconnect/reinstall any connectors, wires that you disconnect/removed when you dropped the transmission. Also should check again if you didn't accidentally damage anything while swapping the clutch.
Swapping the clutch doesn't affect valve timing. but you have to set the timing if the timing is off with some reason.

i was thinking that maybe the timing belt might have skipped a tooth if the engine was rotated in the opposite direction. its easy to do when tightening the clutch bolts. i know turning the motor in reverse usually doesn't cause problems but it is possible
