Ok I know I'm new here so please cut me some slack my head hurts because of my car and your my last hope....here it goes

I have a 95 eclipse 420a motor motor has been rebuilt less than 2500 miles ago had a new crank sensor, cam sensor, and a few other things. My problem I'm having is that the car ran great I was driving it daily for about 5 months, then I parked it for a few to do some upgrades(never got to them). Well I started to drive the car again and it drove great for about 3 weeks I was leaving work it started and I pulled out of my parking spot and the car died.....I took it to a local shop and they told me that the intake rubbed the cam sensor to bare wires, they fixed it for me( I work a lot of hours). They told me it still had spark and when they sprayed starting fluid in the intake it would sputter. Well they told me they couldn't figure it out and it needed a computer. I'm leary on that, I got it towed to my house to try it myself. And it still won't start I have replaced the crank shaft positioning sensor, camshaft sensor, I got the coil checked and I can't get any spark even today I can't. I'm lost and I don't know what the next step is I need the car but don't know what else to do please help!!!

I know as crazy as it sounds I had my timing belt jump a tooth or two and had similar issues. Check the tension of your timing belt if it's loose then check the tensioner. It is hydraulic I believe. I don't see why that would cause the engine not to fire but it did I suppose LOL.

The main thing that I can't figure out is that there is no spark at all so I need to figure that out and the tensioner was replaced when I rebuilt the motor

Alright I checked the timing it is where it's supposed to be at now could it be the psm? is there anything else that it could be I'm still lost on this car and I'm hurting for an answer please someone help

An obd2 scanners can even bluetooth to your phone now. I have a code reader that connect to my laptop. That might be a good investment. If it was a sensor it should send a code from the computer. The ecu is pretty hard to break but could cause your symptoms i think. Im not sure it would even turn over with a dead ecu. You could maybe borrow one? This would prove the theory. Or return it to the junk yard but they may not take returns. Sometimes in the same day. You could plug it in and know right away if you need to return it. I dont understand how your intake rubbed on any sensors. The basics are fuel spark and air. Maybe electrical. The distributor thing is bolted to your valve cover. You can have that tested very easily for resistance. If one of those wires is bad or even has too much resistance that may be a problem.

The OBD2 Scanner that I have can plug into my computer (not sure how) but I don't know anyone else in my area that has the same car and plus I did some research and there are a couple of different ecus for my car I have had everything checked besides the ecu and everything in theory is working fine but there still is no spark I checked fuel pressure and it's there how the intake rubbed against the wiring for the cam sensor not sure I might just bolt the ecu back up and see what happens who knows it might just be pissed at me
