Resolved 92 Talon TSi alternator wiring

Just got this, been rewiring alternator, can't figure out where this black wire at the bottom goes, seen someone's post and they didn't even have one and stated there's works fine, so what is this really?

Extra ground. Either you can ground or remove it as you like. Not super necessary since the alternator is already grounded.
