Car pulls good man. I like how the cams pull to 8500. Gotta get some more tuning done so that turbo stands up a little better and hits a little harder. you are sure gonna hurt some feelings for sure man up in fort co with the little sleeper!!!

Any plans to dyno the car? Can't wait to see this thing run! Don't forget to weigh the car!

Just read through everything and man you have done a great job! I actually dont mind the rims on it right now for the simple fact that they keep it looking like a sleeper but I cant wait to see it with a nicer set on it. also I know the feels of having a crappy altitude to get 1/4 mile passes on, I am shooting for 11s myself in a 91 auto awd. Best of luck and cant wait to see a dyno sheet and time slip!

Hell ya!

Thanks for the encouragement guys! Hopefully dyno and tuning in two weeks.

Also, huge thanks to Gseclipse93 (IFab) for doing 90% of the work. My skill set is not nearly up to par to accomplish this level of build. Just the suspension kicked my ass

Pretty cool, man. I have an hx35 with the bep t3 housing that I'm waiting to put on in the winter. I wonder what the difference would be between the two.

Is it just me or is that powerband kind of far to the right with an HX35, I'd expect it with a 40.. but I thought the 35s were the "fast" spool holsets. Impressive numbers though, that'll definitely get you into the 11s with a proper driver mod ;)

Kelford 272's will do that. Lol

Ya, I think it's mixture of all the head work, cams, and the cat still in the exhaust. Hoping once the cats out it'll help a bit with spool and certainly with holding power to redline.

Passed emissions! Amazing what some smaller injectors and a tune will do. New vs Old

Flow numbers on the dyno were about 48lb/min. On the street while logging it really depends on the ambient temp, 45-53lb/min.

Next issue is trying to figure out while it's running so hot. Prolly going to cut some holes in the bumper, see if that helps.

Sweet! Post some in car video's driving around / drag racing soon!

Well, I think I found part of the heat issue. Also probably the reason it passed emissions. And a great indicator of how restrictive the catalytic converter is.

Blowing out exhaust gaskets!

Cats out! Definitely not high flow. Please note the chunks of gasket.

Drives so much better! First pull hit 7psi higher. IFAB retuned t on the street, it makes the same airflow (haven't had a chance to redyno yet) at 4 less psi but spools about 500rpm sooner.
