6 bolt rebuild

Does anyone have a 6 bolt bare block rebuild parts list, i want to make everything fresh and brand new.

bare block just get new everything top to bottom, replace it all everything in your build as you may see fit.

Look through the build journals, there really isn't a list posted anywhere.

You can buy the evergreen gasket kit off ebay, it will have all the gaskets, seals and rings you need. Just use a different head gasket or i did atleast. Then you got pistons, rods, rings, rod bolts, main bolts, head studs and timing components.

You will see once you take everything apart.

you must first disassemble and inspect/measure your existing internals to determine exactly what will be done. But some things you can replace if you just want to without inspecting: Pistons and rings, rods, bearings and gaskets. The crankshaft you would need to inspect and you don't wanna have to replace that if you don't have to let's face it

Wait to order stuff until you break it down though because you won't know which size pistons and rings till after you decide whether you gonna have to bore your cylinders or not, right?

Everygreen gasket kit off ebay is a great gasket set. I personally have use this gasket set on my motor now and i have been boosting 33psi on my holset for over 5000 miles and not one issue with it. Just make sure to use copper spray on head gasket.

I think we were still experimenting with the Oring setup on my car, when yours was being done.

Yup you was oring your block when we did mine at the time. motors still running strong have about 5200 miles on her and doing 33 psi on the holset turbo pushing 48lbs/min...
