Did a search, couldn't find a result. Just a quick question with hopefully a quick answer.

I'm doing a rebuild on my 92 talon tsi awd. I'm using the 6 bolt block, 7 bolt head, but with the 6 bolt cams and gears.

There's a difference online for the timing belts, so I'm not sure which belt I'm supposed to get, I'm leaning more towards the 6 bolt belt, let me know what you guys think.

If your using 6 bolt cam gears like you said, then you only need a 6 bolt t-belt. Be sure to crank it over a few times by hand and make sure everything still lines up. Just curious are you using a 1g or 2g intake manifold?

I'm getting all my parts from the dealership, since I get over 50% off the prices. When I look on mitsu's website it shows different numbers for the t belt.

I'm using a 2g manifold btw, with the 1g throttle body. I'm just going for a good street build.

For some reason I can't see the part numbers from my phone (I'm at work so I use my phone for internet, which is how I'm posting this LOL)

But I can see that it shows different years, from 91-92 then from 92+

So I'm assuming they're different numbers, also that I saw different numbers last night.
