4g63 to Subaru trans

My 5speed Subaru tranny is made from glass a 4g63 will shred it.. I would look into what the dune buggies use built bus trans or 930
"Glass" don't you mean two week old dried cookie dough, I hear sti guys are even tempted to eat the internals during rebuilds, thats why there is a shortage of sti trannys going around LOL.

A built dsm trans is more cost effective then investing in an adapter plate for around $250-$300 you can get a dsm trans for another few hundred it can be built up to handle the power no wasting time bolting an expensive adapter plate to a used [possibly worn out] subi trans, thats no better then a stock dsm trans, which can be built to the demand via shep, magnus, jackstransmissions etc.

Now I know you could get a subi trans built up like a dsm trans, but now some of your money would need to be used on an adapter plate in addition to all the trans upgrade parts and labor.

I don't mean to crush your dreams or anything, in fact if you want to proceed with doing this, leave me a link to your build I'm all for seeing new swaps with 4g63t motors, but I'm just leaving some of the common consensus dsm mindset food for thought here.
