I recently got offered a 4g63 n/t motor 6bolt motor out of a 91 eclipse for free. I plan on making the motor a 2.3 with a magnus stroker kit but I know the n/t motor isn't the same as the turbo motor. I am going to put a turbo on the motor and change the compression ratio to 8.5:1 but I need to know if I have to change more than just the compression ratio to put the turbo on it. I know there aren't any oil squirters on the n/t engine and that there isn't a knock sensor but I am still wondering if I should use this block. I do not want to put all this money into the engine and then have it just blow up. I'm planning on making around 700hp but I want it to be more than strong enough. I have researched this quite a bit and I haven't heard of many people using this engine for their build so I just want to see if it can be done.
