If I am going to be doing internals and fully building everything, is it ok to use a block from a non turbo first gen in a gsx? Are the blocks the same strength?

yea the 4g63 blocks all are the same weather turbo or not, but the nt ones dont have the oil squirters like the turbos do.

Are the oil quirters necessary for a build up or what is their significants.

no they are not necessary, i know shep doesnt have them.

They are used to cool the underside of the pistons. They can be useful, but aren't strictly necessary.
