So I just picked up a short block from someone. No known history, only knew it was a 6-bolt.
Long story short, its a N/T block (no oil squirters), 6-bolt crank, 7-bolt oil pan, 7-bolt ofh (water cooled), 1g rods (I think), 2g NPR .40 over pistons. It looks to be a 7-bolt front case, because its running the oil pan to match (correct?).
Is this possible?
It did spin a balance shaft bearing, to the point where it binded up and locked the timing belt to have all the pistons go emo with the valves...
I'll get pics up tomorrow night!
