2G 4g64 oil pan for 4g63 7-bolt block

I wanted to ask if anyone has used an oil pan from a 4g64(MD332039) on a 7-bolt 4g63.?

Im looking to have an a/n fitting welded to the oil pan so i'm not worried about it not having the spot for the turbo drain. More so want to make sure it will bolt up in my gsx without issues. I searched and have found people saying that the 4g63 pan will fit the 4g64, but wanted to make sure that going the other way it clears the transfer case and everything else.

Also are the oil pickups the same?

The 4g64 pan should be the same as the 7bolt 4g63t pan is all respects that count, save lacking the turbo drain port. I don't believe the basic shape changed, but there might be slightly less space for exhaust. I honestly don't think there'll be an issue for you.

I have a 7 bolt 4G64 sitting on the engine stand right now.. and a 7 bolt 4G63t going into the car. From what I can see, the oil pans look identical aside from the turbo oil return on the 4G63t pan.
