So I bought a 98 eclipse gsx and I need to install a 450 fuel pump for my Fp red turbo and pte 1200cc injectors.

I have cut the first barb off the fuel pump output. I bought the Toyota seal and used the oring in between the hanger and the Toyota fuel pump seal. The pump is pushed up the entire way. I reused the bottom rubber insulator and I got the L bracket to hold the pump in place. But when I put the hanger in it feels like it’s bottoming out in that tray inside the tank.

Is it ok to remove that tank? It has two bolts holding it in place or is there another way?

Are you talking about removing the baffle inside the tank? That won't work unfortunately.

If you got the L bracket on the bottom, it should be very close to fitting.

I just did my fuel sending unit with 8an and 6an fittings and it was a pain in the butt. I'm not very familiar with a 450 install with factory lines.

I fallowed something similar to this: https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/8an-fuel-feed-6an-return-bulkhead-install-with-evo-siphon.530228/

I just welded fittings on my unit instead of bulkhead.
