Ok, now before i launch into this i have quite a bit of mechanical knowledge so im not just poking in the dark.
Problem: Car sat for 4 days in near or below 0 temp and i did not start it because i was out plowing snow almost non stop for the duration of those days. On the afternoon i went to start the car i had it cranking over and had some battery life left so my first guess was well ill jump it. Did not solve the problem. I took the battery out and had it tested and the results were bad battery. I bought an oem spec battery and installed it. Keep in mind i also checked all connections, aka.. starter, battery cables, grounds, etc. Much more juice but still no start. Well, i have power so i switched to the ignition. I took a plug wire off and had my friend turn it over to see a blue arch on my valve cover. So, i have spark. I removed the upper intercooler pipe from the throttle body elbow and sprayed some starter fluid in to see if maybe a fuel line was frozen and i still had a solid crank but no start....
Question: At this point im not sure what to do because even with the new battery i tried starting it while being jumped to find no luck. I know that our alternator has a voltage regulator in it, and if that is bad it wont let you start, but would that not be a problem if you were being jumped by another vehicle?
So, i guess i havent checked the computer system, but i wouldnt know where to start there.
Thats where my nice friends on this site will help me out!!! Right?
Anyways, thanks for the space and any suggestions!!!
