Hello all.

I thought I would post this up because it might be of use to some of you,

***** NOTE ***** This is for the tailgate/hatch window only!!!

Recently got my side windows made from a company that specialise in racing windows and i had mine made in hard coat poly and next up for me is the rear curved window which is to be thermo formed and I have asked the owner of the company if they would be interested in doing more and they agreed to it and if a few are on board then they would even make a proper mold for it so it will always be available to us in the future! if not then I might get one maybe 2 off the glass before it breaks and no more can be replicated after that!

I have got a few prices and they are in pounds and converted to current rates and the rates will alter for you (check XE.com) for most current rates but the pounds will always stay the same. I dont have any control on these prices and its exactly what I myself will be paying.

3 options available!

normal poly-carbonate is £190 or $233

hard coat poly-carbonate (best scratch resistant and fuel/chemical resistant) £275 or $338

Tinted poly-carbonate in Grey VLT 55% or bronze VLT 50% £200 or $245

normal poly-carbonate has good scratch resistance as well as the tinted but the hard coat has the better resistance and also against things like fuel and cleaning products. All windows are clear and see through, windows in the pic have its protective coating on still

Details of the window,
will be slightly over oem sized to eliminate the factory rubber seal to give a neater and cleaner look and be a bit more aerodynamic, it will be a good fit and no trimming required,
also will come with black primed as oem distance read for bonding in. Not to mention poly windows are about 50% lighter then glass also. Good weight savings to be had.

Stock oem glass 22Lbs
ACW poly window 11Lbs

Shipping will be based per customer as you will need to email or call them to place your order and get your shipping prices direct from them. BUT for reference a rear window quote shipped to California is £66 or $81

so for me I think if I can help you folks out as I always try to do then I will and this is a decent price even for you folks.

if you are interested post up here and lets see what kinda numbers we will be looking at as I will be likely to put my order in for my window in a month or 2 so if we can do something by then when the glass can still be used for the mold great.

any questions or details on something you think off I might have missed out just ask.

THESE PICS ARE FOR REFFERENCE ONLY. this is what they made for me recently to show their work so far they made for me to my exact specifications and they hold up to the car perfect.

The post is is for the tailgate/hatch piece only

I'd be interested in a set. This is just the door windows and quarter windows? Or the rear hatch glass too? Sorry if I missed that in there.

Could consider 1 or 2 hardcoated waiting for this to move along for now
Roger that dude, you would of course at the time get a shipping quote for Canada bit I could not imagine it being a lot more then the test price to CA.

im going to get my screen out in the next few weeks as I have to take it to them for safety, so should be much longer after that i don't think

So will it be clear? The pictures posted are opaque
Thats just the protective coating it comes with as you only remove this once you have installed the item.

The normal and hardcoat is clear and the tint well.... Has its tint but all are see through of course. Windows are no good if you cannot see through them LOL

Bobby, what VLT do the tinted versions have? Or how much light do they block? Debating between tinted or hard coat with a film tint....
Just checked with them and i edited it uptop with the details for you

Whats the company? I'd love to get my hands on the same side windows you got.
https://www.acwmotorsportplastics.co.uk/

They dont have templates for these as they sent them back to me, the rear quarters are bespoke to myself for my fueling and cooling needs but im sure he could cater to anyones needs but be warned!!!! the rear quarter is tight to add stuff as I found out, I was ment to have 2 ducts but would not fit with my filler in the window aswel.

if its something you would like Im sure I can hand him back the templates for him to copy and make his own set from

Yeah I’ll be running carbonetics quarter window fillers but would love a set of those side windows with the slider on them. What did those set you back if you don’t mind me asking?

The windows for the door, sorry I could have been more specific. I don’t care if they even have the slider on them.
I paid near $600 for them delivered but I opted for the more expensive hard coated material so I think that was a good price myself.
