What are the benefits of putting a 2g maf on my 1g if any i see alot of guys doing it. Are there any down sides to running it i cant seem to find the answer i want i just see alot of people are running them. Also do i need a dsm link or anything like that to run it

2G MAF simply flows more air. To compensate for that extra air flow an AFC or Link is needed. A set of 550 injectors just about diminish the need for any corrections, but with a tuning device corrections are always possible.

Yeah 300 sounds like a good deal for all that....almost too good. you will be happy with a 2g maf for quite some time. lots of power available. Into the 300hp range no prob and probably more

Yeah, not a bad deal. It is also a myth that 2g maf and 550's doesn't require compensation. I've seen as much as -10 and +5 in high settings on afc for 2g maf w/ 550's, it depends on the car (I'd make sure to have a logger handy). The 2g maf is fine for almost any goal even applications over 400whp. I run them in both of my dsms.

Is there any where just to get a logger cable and the progam i already have a compaq ipaq. Or would it just be cheaper to find the setup on ebay.

i plan on the 2g mass soon also... Is it possible to run a 2g mass on 450s with a 190lph pump and a n/t fpr ( which ive researched raises base fp by 10 psi making the 450s flow more like a rate of 505.. ) so therefore with exactly what I said work for a 2g mass?
I know its hard to tell just by asking and im going to have a logger when I do it, just wondering does any of this equal out to you guys/?

I'm not aware on any DSM datalogger software that runs on the iPaq.

You can go to www.pocketlogger.com and buy the cable and software. And then pick up a remanufactured Palm M505 off of eBay for pretty cheap.

Or you can go to www.dsmloggers.com and pick up their 1G kit, which includes a Palm.
