1g maf - 2g maf

I have a question about a 1g talon, i have a dejon tool intake on my car from the previous owner, i dont think its dsm specific as its just a straight hard intake pipe to a 1g maf, it worked ok until i installed my vrsf front mount, and now the straight intake pipe rest on the the pipes for the intercooler and im not a a fan, So i was looking into getting a 1g pipe (that has the S bends to it). my question is is there a way to run the 1g maf, and then when i get a 2g maf switch it over using the same 1g pipe? Only reason im asking is my 1g maf is still good and my K&N filter so i wanted to order a new pipe or purchase one new so i can run my car again, then once i install my 550's and safc put on the 2g maf. is this possible or is it 1g pipe have to run 1g maf? I guess im curious to know if there is a pipe i can order that can i can switch between the 2 maf's? (i see that the 2g maf has a oval shape) Using a adapter or something?? Maybe a stupid question but i want my car on the road again .

I think there is an adapter that will allow you to. Would have to check it out on one of the vendors sites.

You have to buy an adapter. I blieve they are around $30-40. Also check out FP if your looking for a pipe that looks like an S. Hope this helps out

Anybody have a link for the adapter? I mean I don't wanna buy a 1g pipe for the time being then have to buy a new one to use the 2g maf later on

Here is the problem I'm having along with the pic of the pipe that was on it, the pipe doesn't sit flush on the turbo and rest on the ic piping
also is this a 1g talon pipe or just a interchangable pipe i guess is the word im looking for....

It was one of his options for his various intakes. Maybe someone will trade you for it.

This should be a good start-

Adapter I believe the Vibrant one has the same dimensions (not positive)

Intake pipe- Just make sure you get the right couplers for your turbo set up/ maf and you should be all set.

ok im just going to look for a 1g pipe and use my 1g maf a guy wants to sell this pipe cheap, will this work for clearance on the vrsf fmic pipe from the 1g tb and goes under where the coolant over flow sits. also anyone have any pics of a short pipe like this? ive searched and haven't seen anything but i see fp sells them for like 77 bucks but it looks so short so i was just wondering if this one in the pic will work and what the short pipes look like... thank you for any help just want my car able to run again .
