I'm now confused. I can get a Mitsubishi Fuso Truck turbo (1991). This turbo is supposedly a 19c with a td06h turbine. It also supposedly has the 20g compressor.

What is confusing is my search on dsmtuners. . . I search 19c, and I see that all everyone says is that the compressor is not a milti-level-bladed wheel and is not efficient at higher boosts. This is not the case of the 20g compressor. . .

We all know the Fuso came with the 20g compressor and 18g for 1 year, right? Am I missing something? Has the 19c name been smeared from the 'frank era'? Or does not the Fuso come with a td06h turbine and a 20g compressor. . . Can anyone point me to a source, or give me their findings on this?

Im not saying this info is correct. It did come from DSMtalk and I thought it was interesting. Looks more like he was just trying to rally people up.

Just some insight on the Big T-28...

It should be very reiable considering it is off a TRUCK. That is all it is. It is the stock turbo off Mitsu FUSO truck.

It is a stock part number from mitsu. In other words you could go to any turbo shop say I need this part number from mitsubishi and BINGO you have a Big T-28. Throw on the compressor housing and turbine housing from your old t-2small and you have a FP Big t-28.

OK there is some machining to do on the Compressor housing and in the turbine housing, but it just goes that there is not much thought into a turbo like that it can be done anywhere not just FP. You shoud be able to get it for a little more that a BIG 16G. not a couple of hundred more...

Just A Thought.

Thanx for the post and the info. . . There's several reasons why I don't go to dsmtalk. . . But I suppose I can search there too. . . That post is odd.

Yes it is odd.

DSMtalk isnt my cup of tea either. ;) Good luck with the research.

I think the 19c and 20g have the same inducer or exducer not sure but it's one of them. I have seen typhoon guys swap to it. But the difference in flow is a lot 600cfm for the 19c 650 for the 20g.
