My car is a 1GA AWD 1991 with ABS brakes and it has a 3-bolt Non LSD Rear Diff.
I found a spare Rear Diff removed from a 1gb AWD 1993 with regular brakes (no ABS).
Both car have manual transmissions.

Searching in the forums I have noticed the cars with ABS brakes came with Non LSD Rear Diff, and cars without ABS came with LSD Rear Diff. Is that correct?
If yes, somebody could explain why?
Could I install the 3-bolt Rear Diff that I found in my car without deleting the ABS brakes?

In 90 and 91 the ABS wasn't compatible with the rear VC LSD. I asked at the time but the answer wasn't notable in detail just that you could get one or the other. That changed in 92. I don't know if they added additional sensors to the rear or get a better control unit.

I don't remember the reasoning for not having the LSD with ABS, but I wouldn't let that stop me from putting the diff in the car- The ABS in the early cars is truly awful, and myself and others have done some testing with the system on & off, and gotten consistently longer stops with the ABS enabled. It's 35 year old tech, and ABS in a modern car versus a 1g is a completely different beast.

The best thing you can do IMO is to delete the ABS system, which not only drops a significant amount of weight but will give you a better pedal feel and shorter stopping distances. You just have to avoid driving like a ding-dong and matting the brakes mid-corner or in the rain 🤣
