1G 4 bolt LSD VS Non LSD

From my understanding on facebook and dsmtuners there was an option of Non LSD 4 bolt rear ends. I've seen a thread where they state the 4 bolt passenger lsd axle has two sets of spline. Also this

There are 3-Bolt LSD rears, 3-Bolt non-LSD rears, and 4-Bolt LSD rears. Never once, in 25 years has someone been able to show me a 4-Bolt non-LSD rear, and Mitsubishi has neither the part number for one, nor any record of one existing.

I believe people sometimes (incorrectly) assume that since there are both LSD and non-LSD 3-Bolts that the same applies to the 4-Bolt versions of the 1G rears.

WOW. Thanks you’re the best, that clears up a lot of uncertainties for me! Now time to hunt down a driver side rear axle!

I own a JDM 91 Galant VR4, what if I told you I had a 4 bolt non LSD diff and I need an axle shaft but I can't find one any where.

I would tell you that A) It's not a DSM, B) It's not a US Domestic Market Car and C) Please send me your Frame Number so that I can look it up in Mitsu's system to confirm or deny, (also as I've yet to see an E38A/E39A car come factory with a 4-bolt at all)

There may have been some non-US cars that possibly have a Non-LSD rear with 4-bolt type axles, but I have yet to run into them.

The discussion was if any U.S. Spec cars came from Mitsubishi with a 4-bolt Non-LSD rear, which never happened.
