1G b17 3 bolt rear diff

I searched and searched with no such luck. so here i go

i have a 3 bolt rear diff and its marked B17 but the gear ratio is unreadable. could anyone tell me if it is for an auto or 5 speed? i really dont wanna take the cover off and count the teeth

B1A - 3 Bolt Manual Non-LSD
B17 - 3 Bolt Manual LSD

Odd no one ever answered all the ops questions as to what ratios were offered.

I know this post is way old, but for the next person who is looking at this post, I actually have a spare 1990 GSX 3 BOLT rear B17 limited slip differential, with the stock ratios written on the back of its housing and they read:
3.545

Not sure if Mitsubishi used other ratios on the 1G DSM, I wouldn't be surprised if they did though.
