1g ebay IC, Pictures inside

I hear you on keeping your name clean. It is good to see you stop to think about that. You could do upper and lower IC pipes for people who want to keep a stock side mount too. Throttle body elbows, j-pipes... It could take a while to make sure you have a good design but keep at it and I am sure it will pay off.

I will be designing UICP and LICP's but i want to design an entire SMIC upgrade kit. Do you guys think a side mount that is around the same size as the supra with all the pipes is a decent idea?

My ideal price for the entire side mount kit would be like 250 shipped, but dont quote me on that yet.

Tell me what you think.

Saddly i cant do much due to how cold it is outside now, but i hope to have the 1g intake with 2g mas on sale within the next 2 months. I'm going to try and bundle it with a real K&N filter with adapter plate for around 100 bucks.

Thanks for the ideas guys.

You could do a prettier version of this cold air box design and mass market it.

I just made sure my hard upper IC pipe could clear. You could do one with the I/C pipe, one without.

If you do, I wouldn't mind a FMIC as a thank you ;)

The air box would be a good seller I think. I don't know of any place to pick one up. I have wanted to make one for a while now but just never got around to getting the materials.

My FMIC showed up this morning and wow! Great quality for the price, amazing. I hope to get it mounted up within the next couple of weeks depending on weather. It will be a couple of months before my little build is done. There could be a market for the side mount kits. Those trying to keep the car a "sleeper" or just don't want to shell out more money for a FMIC.

Well i got another person to give me some install pics

He only gave me 1 so far.

You can keep the fog lights with the kit :thumb:

i finally got an aluminum tial BOV flange and had that welded on. my dad couldn't remember what i wanted the pipes coated in, but remembered the whole car was flat black. i was planning on gloss for everything under the hood, but it was free, so i won't bi***. i'll be installing it tomorrow. heres the mock up. i have to paint the front of the core with a light coating of flat black before it goes on. don't mind the mess in the pics, i've been digging through mags looking for a couple specific articles and i have HUNDREDS of mags.

Has anyone installed this kit that has a fluidyne radiator yet? I am wondering how that jpipe will fit with the thicker radiator core. It looks tight with the stock radiator and fan. I also see in the pics 90 oil coolers and they don't look like they have to be moved is that correct?

I have not installed this with a fluidyne radiator. It should be able to fit i'm not sure. I'd just spend 40 bucks on a slim fan off ebay.

the 90 oil cooler does not have to be moved.

igotasweetride - Thanks for the pictures so far, keep us posted on your install............(you've got the core upside down ROFL

Is that tial bov taller then the 1g?

Here's my kit installed, the passenger fan did not fit in my case. The 90 oil cooler did not have to be moved. I will be going back to the SSQ bov soon.

igotasweetride- I hope that Tial bov fits under the hood, it is tight in there.
