do you still have to cut the radiator or does it fit without doing that now? updated price list to my PM please. thanks

the kit fits without cutting the radiator. LaNs car was the only one that needed the cutting. the crash bar still has to be cut but thats it. also both kits work with the factory fog lights. its just a matter of bending hte brackets a lil to get them to fit.

Here are some pics. Just shows how I mounted mine, and how it looks back installed.

And I had to hardly cut the crash beam. Just on the sides where it mounts and curves back. In the middle it was fine. But then again, I cut the hood latch support (vertical support behind the IC) and bent it back to give me a little more room. I was going to weld in some more metal to give it back some strength, but ran out of time to do so.

Never did get any pics of the inside of this core, so I ended up getting a different one. Good luch in your future sales though.

i couldn't get them. Warehouse never sent me any, since all the IC's were complete. Not sure why you needed pics its just a normal hybrid IC.

Well with the weather finally getting better i will be tackling a few project shortly.

I plan on getting a 2g kit put together and an EVO kit. I may even try an SRT-4 kit.

The intakes pipes will be here in the next few weeks also.

Thanks everyong for your support so far.

i don't believe it has been tested yet. All else fails just take it to a shop and have them weld it on somewhere else. Not like its a big deal to get that done.

My guess is that BOV may be to high, but like i said no one has tested it yet.

For the 30 dollars it would take you to have someone weld it on somewhere else i don't think it would really matter. (if it doesn't fit)

What's the status on the intake pipes? I really need a 2gMAS in a 1g intake pipe and was about to drop the big bucks on the dejon piece but it sounds like I should wait it out for a little bit.

Prototype is done, i'm hoping they will be here on the next shipment. I'll keep you posted

Any idea what the 3.5" FMIC kit could support HP-wise?

I suspect around 450whp or so, +/-

I don't have solid numbers yet, but my buddy ran a 12.3 on his 16g. I'll be running my FP green on it and i've heard people running 60 trims.

In about a week or 2 i'll be going to the dyno so i'll post number then.

I'll have pics of this kit on my Laser next week after I get the kit. I'm pretty stoked, looks to be a quality kit for a good price.

questions:

Is the J-pipe modified now so you can keep stock radiator fan? Do you still need a slimline on the A/C side?

The intake pipe, how wide will it be? Is it a 2,5" 3" 4" ..well you get the question:)

I am gonna order this kit for my EVOIII b16G setup very soon :)

I had very little issue getting my FMIC to fit right. I had to have the BOV flange shortened a bit so my hood would close, but that could be a case by case basis. The hardest part for me was trying to figure out how to relocate my power steering line. And I didn't have to cut the bumper at all either. It was a tight squeeze but I didn't have to cut it! Very nice quality and looks mean. So far, this FMIC has put me to a 13.55@99mph on my 14b. Now that my turbo is blown, my E316G is going on next week. I LOVE this thing!

Here are a few pics ( I wailed on that G35 BTW :p :sneaky: ):
