any word on how much longer till the j pipe issue is fixed? ive been waiting two weeks now for it to be shipped form punishment and am just wondering what type of time frame im looking at till its even shipped.

Would I be able to get just the j-pipe? How much does it run? If you can't post here PM me.

If you remember my stock radiator fan wouldn't fit with the kit. The reason it doesn't fit is the j-pipe. The bend extends out too far and hits the fan when I try and bolt it to the turbo.

I also had to grind down a bolt and allen key, and then put a wrench on the key to even tighten it down. It is a pain to take the j-pipe off and put it back on and not leak. I tear my car down a lot so this issue is getting really old and annoying. Anything you can do for me?

The J pipe is 59 bucks. Our pipe bending machine died and we have to get a new one so i won't have J pipes for at least 1 - 2 weeks

I will admit your J pipe was a pretty shitty fit and since then i have tried to clean up any problems with them. Some people still have to grind the hole a little, but i'm working on making it as clean of an install that i can.

So is the price on Punishment Racing's website the same price we get from you ? I wouldn't need a J pipe (hx35) but I do have a GM MAF I want to use, it looks like theres one in a picture on their website.. ak1ra07 @ hotmail.com

I dont have one of these kits nor do I know LaN but I think I need to say something here. Everyone in this world needs to realize that there is going to be problems every now and again whether its at taco bell, the dealership, US mail, or a DSM vendor. Its just a fact of life. What seperates the the ok from the best is how they handle the problem and how they take care of the customer. I must say after reading through this thread LaN you seem like a guy who cares and appriciates his cutomers. I applaud you for that and hope that you are passing that along to any employees you might have and that other vendors will stand up take notice. Cough SBR cough

Sorry for the delay, i was gone at the shootout.

The kits shipped, you should see them by the end of this week (unless your the guy that lives in Canada which I'm not sure how long it takes, but it did ship.) It will be coming in 2 shipments. 1 will be the kit other will be the J pipe.

Ok here's the deal.

After sitting on the phone for awhile with my supplier (Yelling at him) it ends up there was a problem with this shipping and the J pipes won't be here till tomororw.

I've had just about enough of this crap with the J pipes so i'm having the 2 kits that have been on hold shipped out today (tracking numbers will be sent as soon as i have them). They will not have the J pipes, they will be shipped seperately when they come in, which i'm told will be tomorrow. I was orignally told everything went out Friday, but when i came back from the shootout i was told otherwise, so i appoligize for telling everyone they shipped on Friday.

Due to the problems this has caused the 2 people that have been waiting for weeks now will recieve at 50 dollar refund. I know its not much, but i feel like i need to do something to make it right.

Also anyone they send to me will recieve a discounted rate on FMIC's and kits. They also will recieve this discount.

I've received a lot of comments on how good my customer support is and i want to show the DSM community if anything goes wrong i will do everything i can to make it right.

Thanks,
Mike

We finally have J pipes. (THANK GOD)

All orders have shipped yesterday and today. The 2 orders from punishment that have been waiting 3-4 weeks now should receive a 50 dollar refund.

has anyone installed this kit on a 1gb with abs? because with the way the tbody outlet is it slams the bov pipe right into the abs unit. i cant get the couplers to stay on because of the hard angles i hit trying to shove the pipes on.

When i ran into this problem on my car i removed one of the bolts on the ABS unit and you can move it to the side a little. If that doesn't work You can cut the t-body elbow down an inch or 2 and i'll send you a longer coupler. That way the angle isn't as sharp.

You've got my cell so if you run into problems give me a call.

So i finally got enough pictures and time to put together a tech article about the install of this kit.

Please see the link below and let me know what you think. The doc has so many pics in it that i had to host it on my server.

I haven't really proofed it, but its a good start. I'm going to try and have this posted as a tech article.
