Are there any clearence issues with the upper i/c pipe on a 90 where the cruise control unit sits in front of the battery?

just saw this on ebay. Is this your kit? I noticed he's using your pic from the punishment racing website.

If you want to trust a bank transfer to a guy named G. Wang in another country who's obviously stolen all of the pics for his listing, go for it. I'd stick with Punishment.

I presonally would never purchase anything outside of the US but i just figured he should know someone is out there ripping off his work.

Well some good news.

Customer installed this kit on a 2g. I'm going to be working with him and hopefully have a piping set for 2g's to install. I'll keep everyone posted.

Well, I finally got this installed with plenty of bruised knuckles and alot of swearing while I was cutting away the front bumper. It looks great overall, but I am wondering if anybody else has had the problem of this butting right up to the alternator. Will I have any problems with this butted right up onto the alternator housing? I just don't want to cause an electrical issue. It appears that the charge wire does not touch the pipe, there is a plastic piece protecting it. Please let me know what you guys think about this.

I will take pictures soon, I ended up doing something special for mounting my GM MAF.

Is there a discount for the kit without the J pipe? I have a down firing turbo with a 2" outlet

So I finally got my car back out on the road last night. Thankfully it had been thawing all day so we lost our 2 inches of ice on the main roads so I was able to actually get on it and see how it performed. I was not able to run a log last night, but this intercooler seemed to eliminate most of the knock I was seeing with my sleeper 16 g at 15 psi on the stock sidemount.

Despite some of the minor problems with the kit that were easily fixable, this kit is excellent. Well worth the money, and I'm completely impressed with the people at Punishment Racing. Great job!

You can see pics of my install here:

I haven't been on in awhile, but i'd like to fill everyone in on some changed.

I'm not longer selling the IC's and have passed all business on to punishment racing.

Don't think something bad happened, i just decided to step down and let someone else handle it. Between my normal job and everything else going on i didn't really have time to devote to everything that was involved.

If anyone does have issues please let me know i'm always willing to help out a fellow DSM'er.

That looks great just got mine on the car, and now im finising cutting the crash beam. Im glad the way i did mine buying parts along the way, its turning out great.

As I asked in the past this kit is a really tight fit with a thicker aluminum radiator on a 1g with the stock rad fan. With my fluidyne radiator I had to trim the shroud on the stock fan near the fan blades just to have clearance for the jpipe but it was such a tight fit that it started to cut a hole in the coupler so I had to go with an aftermarket slimline fan and my coolant temps suffered. I also had to trim the lower i/c pipe that goes to the intercooler quite a bit cause it was hitting the alternator. Other than these little issues this intercooler kits awesome. I will be buying another one for my new dsm.
