Kit is almost done guys. I send the pipes, TB and BOV to him today so he can replicate what he needs and add it to the kit. The IC is done, both the 2.75 version and the 3.5. I"ll keep ya all updated.

Hey what about the people using the GM MAF? (such as me) I know one of your other buddies is using it too, im surprised he hasnt said anything about it unless he doesnt use it anymore. I dont wanna order a kit and then have to hack it up to make room for my 3" MAF. :talon:

To give everyone an update.

All of my parts got to him for replication today. I will see 2 completed kits at my door step within 5 - 6 weeks. The 2.75 kit and the 3.5.

Once i have these kits i will be installing them on a buddies car and doing a very detailed write up. Obviously this process will only take a weekend or 2. Once all of this is done these should be for sale shortly after.

If you have any interest of purchasing or pricing please PM me. This thread should be nothing more then a discussion about this IC and progess of the install.

Again i don't to get a big public group buy going on here, but i will comprise a list of people that would be interested.

Comments are suggestions are welcome

****Update****

The cores are done and will be shipped shorly. The piping should be done in a few weeks.

I will recieve a few IC cores within the next few weeks.

I have the Extreme Intercoolers Kit....It was pricey at $720 shipped, and it looks very similar to yours, but the need for modification was minimal if at all, and the fitment was awesome...

I got fogs, p/s, a/c, and the crash beam....Im using a slimline tho on the a/c side

Yeah the extreme Intercoolers kit is basically the same when you break it all down. Obviously the biggest difference is the price.

This kit should be around 500 bucks and its still bigger then the extreme one.

The revised 3.5 inch cores came in Monday.

I will have the 3.5 inch core and J pipe by next week. The 2.75 core will be here in 2 weeks and the pipes will be here around the same time as the 2.75 inch core.

All that is left is test fit and final modification.

I'll keep ya posted.

This is awesome... I was seriously considering to buy the extreme intercoolers kit, until this thread. Glad to see your still coming with updates. Keep it up.:thumb:

***UPDATE***

MOD EDIT: NO GROUP BUYS UNLESS YOU ARE A SITE VENDOR

Any more mentions of a group buy, and this thread will be locked. -99gst_racer

this is of course an interesting core and a good alternative to the rest out there, as long as it is as easy to install ( IE no bad quality, bad clamps etc) as the others. I tend to lived by YGWYPF I did when I buildt my spyder anyways, but since my Talon will be more of a budget racer I am lokoing for cheaper alternatives. Are the flowrates and coolingpercentage the same, why not buy a cheaper kit? This might be very interesting for me and I Will for sure keep looking at this thread to see hwat happens.

I personally dont care about fogs, since I am building a car for speed not for looks ;-)

Well guys i got the new revised Intercooler and it looks good. I'm at work now so i can't post any pictures yet.

I will post more pictures later, when i get home

As some of you can see i got yelled at. I'm going to talk to the mods and see what needs to happen so i can continue to discuss this IC.

Here is a picture of the new revised IC. Nothing really special just an inch longer so it clears the Rad and has all the brackets.

I will have all the pipes and 2.75 IC within 4 weeks.

Awesome news. Thanks again for taking the effort to do this.

I cant really complain...........this new intercooler kit is going on my buddies car for free. :thumb: We will be using his car for the final write up.

Someone will be getting the 2.75 inch core for free also. :D i'm such a nice friend

I dont have the piping yet but the IC's themselfs will be showing up in the classifieds when i get some time to post them.

PM me any questions if needed.

Thanks guys

Man, keep it up! Core looks awesome.

Awesome looking but with custom piping why did you put the BOV so close to the TB? With custom piping like that you could have put it on the hot side.

Theres no room on the hot side for the BOV. The pipe is like a foot long and where would i put the vac line. because my ABS is there it also sucks but it worked and dupe tube fits perfect.
