Nice, my core just proved itself for 12.7 @ 112.5 the other day for me...

This looks to be similar for a lower price, cant beat that

Great progress, think I'm going to wait til the piping comes out, and get the kit.:D

I just got the 2.75 inch core in the mail and will post pictures later.

It looks great and should be able to be installed without modifying the crash beam.

I'm still waiting on the parts :notgood: but they have shipped and will be here in about 2 - 3 weeks.

I'm going to post the other core in the classifieds. I'll give you guys the link later.

Once those pipes come in the kit will be done.

The kit is coming to a completion so i sent PM's to anyone that had any questions over the past few months.

If i forgot anyone please shoot me a PM and i'll forward you the info.

Thanks guys :thumb:

Well i'm sadly still waiting on the pipes :notgood: , but my buddy took both cores to verify they fit correctly. Hes going to start tearing down his car so we figured might as well test it out.

When he is done i'll have pictures.

well after the long wait look what came in today :thumb: :thumb:

Not much longer now.......just have to test fit and start taking names. I'll keep everyone posted.

Thanks,

If anyone is interested in the 2.75 because they do not want to modify there crash beam please note that i am unaware if this core will fit without without cutting the beam until i do the test fit.

Unfortunately when i did the measurements for that core my beam was already cut and my A/C condenser was out which could effect fitment. My buddy started lining up the cores on his car and said it might be able to fit but we will have to wait on the pipes.

If this is the case i will be lowering the price on the first patch of smaller cores due to my mistake.

If anyone is concern with cutting there crash beam don't worry......nothing a good rotozip cant fit in a few mins.

Does anyone know how many cfm this flows?

No not yet, its to new of a product.

All i know is the kit works pretty damn good 12.7 on my 16g. Next summer i'll be going bigger on this kit so we will see how it really holds up.

Possibly down the line when they start to sell more i will get that tested but right now i do not have numbers. Its just to new.

Well guys it was a long wait but finally got the pipes.

I'll be putting them on this weekend to make sure everything is good. So possibly next week these will be on the market.

Remember email me at [email protected] instead of PM'ing (if possible). My PM folder keeps filling up.

Well on to the pictures

well here it is done and fitted. no problems with the install other than the couplers supplied to attach to the endtanks were too short. i had 2 longer couplers laying around and it fit just fine. the longer couplers will hopefully be added to the kit. if not you can buy 12inch pieces of coupler hose off ebay for rather cheap. all in all the install went fairly smooth. ill post track results once the car comes up and running again this summer.

I was correct about the 2.75 inch core it will not fit without modifying the crash beam. Its not a huge deal cutting the beam is cake. Next weekend we will be installing the 2.75 core on another friends car. He has a 1gb so it will also be a good test subject. I'll keep everyone posted.

If the 2 couplers are not a huge deal email me at [email protected] for details

Longer couplers will be provided in the kit but its going to take 4 weeks to get them here.

For anyone that purchases a kit now the price will be lower 15 dollars and have your purchase 10-12 inches of hose from the following.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-5-...ryZ33601QQihZ002QQitemZ120072262419QQtcZphoto

After the 4 weeks longer couplers will be included in the kit. Once the first batch of kits are sold the pipes will be modified so the standard 3" couplers will fit without modifications.

Sorry for this problem guys.

Do you have to cut the crash beam the same amount with the 3.5 as the 2.75? How much do you have to take off with the 2.75 and 3.5? I'd like to keep my beams since it will be a DD.

The crash beam requires about 1 - 2 inches to be cut enable to fit properly.

So figure 1-2 inches in and 1-2 inches up.

If you really want to avoid cutting into the crash beam a lot you can cut off the brackets on the back of the IC and have it rest closer to the frame. This will save you at least 1 inch.
