Long story short, my 90 gsx has sat for way too long and I need to replace all rotors, pads, and calipers. Probably some if not all brake lines as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a good budget friendly kit. Probably looking more for something beffier than the OEM replacement so I don't have to worry about that down the road, but not looking for a huge upgrade.

I installed PBR/ Corvette rear calipers and rotors on the rear. it has a 12inch vented rotor. I think if you get a measurement book on rear calipers. you could find something with a little bit of fab work to fit a 1st gen. that is what I did to fit the PBR calipers.

If you get new calipers I would eat the core charge and keep what you have. They're getting too hard to find. Rebuild kits are under 10$
I have 2-3 sets of fronts and rears. I’m waiting until I’m 80 and have to

What about e-brake?

I’d get a full kit pads/rotors front and rear, hoses, and clean/lube the pins. Then go from there and bleed it and see what happens. That rust embeds in the pad and it’s sketchy to drive through it and the uneven surface of the rotor.

This thread legitimately inspired me to order the Outlander upgrade deal for my Talon. LOL. Found the calipers and brackets as one unit on RockAuto, and got some drilled/slotted rotors + performance pads to go with it. Let's see how long I can handle the fronts being drilled/slotted and the rears not. ROFL

I'd need more meat on the ground to brake harder than what I can now. They would never last on the track but I doubt using the Outlander setup would either.

The original single piston front brakes made me wonder more than once if I was going to stop at all and they warped every 20k miles.
