ok havent found nothing really on what im looking for i have seen a few thing that kinda help out but i still cant really tell how to determine the difference between a 1g head and 2g head i have seen the answers like bigger ports on 2g and bigger TB on a 1g but i got the car and its a 2g 7bolt block but cant really tell about the head though if its a 1g or 2g some help would really be great cause i would like to just get a new head gasket and transfer it over to my 6 bolt block that i have rebuilt

Look on the front of the head there should be a little square looks like it Dosent belong. There should be a dot on it, one for or hole thing is a 2g. Two dots are for a 2g head .

Honestly it should be easier than that. A 1g head would have a 1g intake. 2g could have either an evo 3/rsr or 2g intake (unless aftermarket). The intake manifolds arent really interchangeable.

Close. It's the location of the "dot" on that flat, not the number of them. See: How to distinguish 7 bolt head, 6 bolt non-turbo head, & 6 bolt turbo head

Actually, the dot trick is about as easy at it gets. A 2G head can use a 1G intake manifold but it will be very suboptimal. The reverse is not possible -- a 2G intake manifold cannot be used on a 1G head because it won't seal: intake manifold difference

alright thanx a million guys just was i needing to know.

I suppose but I dont think the car would run anywhere close to right with a bit flat surface for air to smack into there. With as cheap as parts are I dont see any reason why someone wouldnt install the right one (of course I know people still do dumb things anyways).
