Back in December, I came across a Tropical Lime Talon that immediately caught my attention.

Long-distance acquisitions can take time, and this one was no different. Months of waiting, working through the details, and coordinating followed. As the weeks turned into months, I patiently waited for everything to come together—which it eventually did.

After months of waiting, the day finally arrived, and the Tropical Lime Talon AWD was loaded up and headed to Washington last week. This morning, it finally arrived home.

Unlike some of my other cars, this one isn't tied to a specific goal beyond restoring it and making it my own to just drive. I envision something similar to my Tennessee Blue 1gb—a car that isn't heavily modified, but instead restored to a condition that turns heads and can comfortably be driven anywhere, whether it's a local cruise, meet, or road trip.

The car will need quite a bit of attention before it has a chance to become a regular driver, but that's part of the journey. For now, I'm just happy to finally have this Tropical Lime Talon home and the opportunity to save another rare Talon AWD.

Now the work begins.
