1995 Eagle Talon TSi Full Street Build

Picked up a few of the pieces I had at the interior shop today. Had the rear seats touched up and dyed black. Custom shift boot made up as well as a custom arm rest to match. While this was out being done I painted any of the grey plastic inside the car to black. Passenger airbag resprayed black as I had my dash touched up. Previous owner had glue and holes in it. Will take photos of that tomorrow.

Last piece still being completed is an evo 9 wheel I picked up that was in rough shape. Back housing had holes and the wheel was peeling. It’s been redone in leather to match armrest and shift boot as well as the same stitching pattern

Got around to drilling out the welds on the new dust shields to fit the larger evo brakes. Will paint the holes tomorrow just so they don’t rust. Not the prettiest but will be hidden behind the rotor. Working on the PS pump rebuild now which is the last item for the motor to be 100% assembled.

Few photos from the dyno last week. Had a couple issues k need to clean up before I can go back and see what she puts down. Methanol kit also just came in this week which will go in before the next tune.

Car is getting a hard brake line replaced that had a crack and a few other minor things done over the next few weeks before the body shop.

I’m sad to see the Eclipse conversion but love the wheel set up. Those Firehawks are probably my favorite tire right now.

Do you plan on cutting the original fender arches?
Most likely will have to cut the rears and tack them back together. Just trying to figure out how to cut them so it flow in. With the rear carbonetics flares it will be interestingZ I’ve even thought about going with the full rear setup from them as it would be a bit cleaner

My friend who owns a shop and multiple race cars really likes the Firehawks. At least for a street tire. I went with General Gmax RS's which he also highly recommended.

Been pulling my hair out the past few days trying to track down a whistling in the engine bay. Thought it was a belt but but haven’t been able to find anything.when the car idles there is this whistling noise, when you tap the throttle it goes away. Did a leak test and couldn’t find anything, any ideas? Maybe bov?

Time to update the mod list in the vehicle profile. :)

Is that an s90 throttle body? I’ve read they are known to whistle and may need some adjustments from the factory setting.

I feel like it’s the s90

That thread mentions they moved the gm mad to the intake pipe. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of the blow thru?

Honestly the whistle noise is driving me nuts when I’m sitting at a light or letting the car warm up.

Don’t think I want to get it rebuilt. Not sure if there is anyone who even does that service anymore.

Should I go 1g nt or 1g turbo tb as it’s a 60mm. Guess I would need that rebuilt as well

This guy rebuilds S90s

1g NT would be better for you so you can put your coupler right on it. Turbo tbs require an elbow bolted onto it
Thanks, was actually speaking to him last night. Just don’t know if I want to stay with the s90. Lots of people seem to have issues with it. 1g nt might be better for reliability and I can rebuild it in 5 years.

May also add the coolant lines back on or at the minimum go with the bypass instead of the full block off I currently have.

If I run a 1g nt onto the jmf manifold do I go back to the 2 studs and 2 bolts or can I just use bolts with it unlike the factory setup
