I bought a 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS with a knock to try and fix it as a project car and got my dad to come help me. Had the car running on idle for about 30 minutes then put some gas in it drove 15 feet then it stopped running. It no longer gets any spark checked plugs and wires but can’t find the crankshaft sensor.

We have the camshaft sensor on the left by the battery as shown in the picture and no sensor by the timing belts or coils

First thing is, does the CEL turn on for 5 seconds when you turn the ignition on? If not it's not going to run.
If it does, then I'd check to see that you have a heartbeat at the diag connector and then look at the signals from the CAS and see if the ECU is trying to charge the coils via the power transistor.

1993 gs eclipse 2.0 non turbo with no spark I changed the coil packs where do I go next I’m new to all of this

Same set of questions as my last post. You need to make sure the ECU is powering up and running and that's what watching to see if Check Engine Light turns on for 5 seconds (and goes off) when you turn the ignition on verifies.

BTW on a 1G both the Cam and Crank sensors are inside the camshaft sensor on the left by the battery as shown in the picture

CEL does turn on for 5 seconds then goes off

How do I check the cam sensor to make sure it’s good?

Could be the coil pack or the power transistor. How are you checking for spark? Are you just holding it up in the air or grounding it to something? Your CAS could be off 180°.
I’m having a very very simular problem, crank no start and replaced both the coil pack and power transistor 1993 eclipse gs 2.0 non turbo please help if you can!!

To test a 1G CAS you have to provide +12v, ground, and two +5v pull-ups. The CAS will pull the two signal lines down from the 5v provided by the pull-ups as you rotate the trigger disk.

The easiest way for most people to do so is disconnect the CAS from the head but keep the CAS plugged in and turn on the ECU, measure the voltages at the two signal lines and watch for them to be pulled to ground as you rotate the CAS coupling. You should also hear the fuel pump turn on and the injectors pulse as you turn it.

When you reinstall the CAS make sure that the engine is at TDC and you line up the two timing marks on the CAS. You don't want to install it 180* out. Once it's in you need to set the base timing. This sync's the CAS and the ECU to the actual engine timing.

Check your wiring. You may even need to start pulling back split loom and electrical tape to see if there are cracks and breaks in the copper. It's likely fairly tarnished by now and weak from constant heat cycling.
When I started getting into my wiring on my 1g it became apparent real quick. I just didn't have the patience to make a new harness, so I replaced sections that needed it.
My power transistor connector on the harness side was toast and had broken contacts in the plug.

I changed the whole starting system for my eclipse and still won’t start, how do I test the ECU if it’s bad or not about to blow the money that it takes to buy one but wanna test it first

What’s the cylinder compression?

Does it have spark?

Does it have fuel?

Does the CEL come on for 5 seconds when turning the key to ON position?

Fuel yes, spark I don’t know I don’t have a second pair of hands but before I replaced all that no, cel does come on for 5 seconds. What all causes no spark
