1G 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST no spark

My Eclipse was recently rebuilt added inter-cooler and some other stage 3 parts. It ran before i had work done although needed some love. But after receiving it back after about three weeks I was going about 70 when my oil filter blew off. The engine lost power and i slowly coasted to a stop and let the car stall out.

Found out i was probably the wrong oil filter put on improperly so that was about two months ago. Now my car won't spark i have replaced the spark plugs, power transistor and the CAS. The reason i replaced CAS is because the ECU threw the code other than that all clear.

Every other thing that i know to test I have I'm out ideas and so is my manual if you guys have any ideas please help.

Is there spark any of the cylinders? Have you tested your coil pack? Have you set the motor to TDC and verified timing?

You should list some information about your car so we can further help you. It could be the ECU as well. You can also use a multimeter to check voltage (should be 12v) at the CAS.

My car is a 1990 Eclipse GST. The CAS is good I believe. if you mean the wires to it. Not sure on the ECU. There isn't spark on any of the cylinders coil pack tested okay. Not sure on verified timing or TDC.

How did you check the coil pack?

My dad tested the harness with an analog meter that's all the manual said.
