Made some lines for the passenger brake and Volvo power steering pump. I could have done both AN lines but I thought it would’ve been pointless for the return to the reservoir, so I only made a PTFE AN line for the pressure side. Interested to see how others have routed their lines.

Made all my P/S lines from steel braided hose and JIC fittings.

I am attempting to solve my no a/c issue and well I think its electrical at this point. Got to the second can and the car died with the compressor force engaged. I have a thread going for this right now if anyone wants to hop over but this is the pressure readings im left with...doesn't look good

Your low side should be 40-50lbs depending on temperature outside and the high side should be 225 or 250 or so. Good ballpark numbers. Did you vacuum the system first? It should hold a vacuum of 25-30hg before putting in Refrigerant.
I DROVE my DSM to the Post Office today as a "Daily Driver" 💪

Disassembled the valve train on my head and found what im sure is the reason for my lower compression on cylinder one. Piece of plastic was stuck between the valve and the valve seat causing it to not close all the way. Almost EVERY valve stem seal was bad also.

Went to a meet/cruise at the theater for the 25th anniversary showing of the fast and the furious and met a couple other DSM owners there.

Made progress today. Wanna guess which valves hit?

Oddly none of the valves look bad. Haven't done any testing. Betting this thing would've run with a new belt. Not 100% but it might have started. It was an at idle hit. I didn't even bother with a leakdown. I have to fix the root cause anyway.

It was definitely on a much faster pass, without the pedal around the 3/4 shift, the 121 1/8 mile trap shows it was 150+. I'll get there! This car has typically short tracked really well, on the Mitsutimes lists I'm usually 5 or so MPH lower than the guys I'm right around because of that. Now I'm trying to add that top end charge to the mix. A 1.3x 60' added to a 160mph trap should hurt a lot of feelings LOL.

Parts arrived for my head assembly (and a set of Megan Coil Overs, on their way). 👍

Started by lapping all of the valves and vacuum testing their seal. I'll finish it up on Monday as its supposed to be 100* ALL WEEK. Kiggly Beehives, Manley Keepers, GSC Spring Seats and the Kiggly Regulator are all next. :thumb:

Well dam, although the valves are sealing, I have at least 2, maybe more, with nicks in the exhaust valve faces so I ordered a complete new set of them so that they are all the same. This one was deep enough that it wouldn't have come out, even if I took it to a shop for facing without it being sunk deep in the seat. 😕

My Red Talon got some well deserved stuff today! 😎 She really needed these as she is WAY too much of a bucking bronco between gears on the stock suspension. 👍

This is my first shot with Coilovers, so I am not that far in the spring rates. I did order the "Racing, Off Road Use Only" models. I opened the box last night but it was late and I didn't read any of the nomenclature. I will be looking. Is there a preferred rate? Enlighten me please. I just needed more suspension control. I need my car stiffer in the back. WAY back in the day, we would use 80/20 or 90/10 shocks to control how our cars squatted under load but this is all new to me. :hmm:
Any feedback or information is greatly appreciated.

Here is the info from Megan. I only use the car for racing (mostly) although it is a tagged, full weight car and is cruised around town but no cross country trips or trips more than 30 miles away, since I am on E85 but I don't have a refilling station in town.
Specifications and Features:
-Spring Rate Front: 12kg/mm
-Spring Rate Rear: 10kg/mm
-Internal Construction: Monotube
-Damping Force Adjustability: 32-way Compression & Rebound Simultaneous
Thank you @diambo4life

I wouldn't know stiff from soft on the springs so thank you. My car needs to stay solid and flat, not rock-n-roll thru the gears. It is kinda dangerous because the car is FAST. Bouncing back and forth between shifts isn't safe so I just want to steady the car. Thanks for your input. 👍
