Compression, is that a pressure regulator you are using? If so then ditch it. Use only a flow meter. The cfh on back purge depends on your entry & exit port on the piece you are purging.
As for purge time it is simple math. Cwlculate thre volume you have. Then obviously apply that to your purge rate and find out how long it takes to displace the air inside. Keep in mind argon is denser than air. Purge out point must be higher than the purge in point on your piece. Otherwise you will trap air inside.

Is that just a nut for the drain or is it a return?
Its actually going to be a 90 degree fitting with a little ball valve thread in there for a drain.
