WOW 14b is louder than 50trim with Open DP ?

basically, i was just very impressed that the 50trim has less Turbine noise at idle rev's than a 14b did.

haha, i was expectiong a lot Louder sound with the 50, but Nope.

mabye since its bigger, it just doesnt spin up as much in nuetral...

I have found that bigger turbos are alot quieter than small ones. The slower turning at idle is do to a bigger A/R and heaver wheels. If I had to guess,if mine was not ball bearing it may not even turn at all at idle

The 50-trim may be quieter with no load, but it is a hell of a lot louder with load.

I too, was running a 14b, and now a 50-trim. You'll love the power difference.
