Thanks for the post TurboSax. looks kind of tricky but Ill pick up the cable and give it a try..

The install is really easy. The hardest part is getting the cable disconnected from the gas pedal. That little yellow piece on the end of the cable can be a pita.

Here's a good site for oem parts. The non-cruise throttle cable is $37.06. Or you can check the classifieds too.

Actually that was easy for me, the hardest part for me was getting to the 2 bolts on the firewall.

It helps when you have eliminated a/c, emissions, and tucked the harness down to the bottom of the firewall. Then there is absolutely nothing in the way :)

hahaha smartass..thanks..damn so its gonna take another month?

Hm, you're right, that sentence is a bit misleading. What it actually means is that after being a member for 30 days and having 50 tech posts, then you will become a proven member. So you are eligible to become a proven member now. I think that the system will automatically change your status at the end of the day.

Dont mean to bump..Hey TurboSax 1 more thing..when you say move the power transistor, you mean the spark plug wire connector correct?..and Im guessing if so then the wire I would have to extend is the #4 cylinder plug wire?

He is actually talking about a part called the power transistor. It is currently mounted to your intake manifold.

Just unbolt it and relocate it to the firewall. As he stated before, you should only have to lengthen one wire. He has the new location shown in the first picture in post #9.

Keep tucking, soon it will almost look like there's nothing there to make it run. Here's mine, I've tucked the injector wires under the rail, moved the igniter/power transistor to a bolt under the intake manifold, but i think i might move it to the firewall like the pic above, that looks really clean!

Here's a few pics of mine. The only things i feel i have left to hide on the intake are the CAS plug and the AIT and wires that i put in the TB elbow, I've got a few spare elbows, so I'm going to hide it out of side on the bottom or back next.

Overall

Throttle body area, you can see the AIT and CAS in this one

A little closer to the rail and injectors

I also took the 4 white wires from the fuse box, soldered them together into an 8 Guage wire and use an audio fuseblock to clean the battery wires up (although i just added a green and orange i now need to hide)

Here's an overall shot. I need to build new intercooler piping though, this was "temporary" while the others were out to chrome, but some how the shop I sent them to went out of business AND happened to loose my IC pipes at the same time, so i never got them back. I had shipped them out because the local shop wanted them for 3-4 weeks and almost 300 bucks, i should have been more patient and paid the extra, now i have to build more :/
