I agree. I dont think that seats are that big of a deal to buy from ebay.
But those particular seats are ugly.

A lot of ebay seats have the cushions like velcroed on. And are made of cheap materials, and that seat just looks really cheap.

okay yeah after eating some dinner and contemplating about it, they do look plastic mcdonalds toys. but i still wanna find something that looks very similar to a recaro but i just dont wanna spend around 1000$ for a pair of seats. i have been searching evolutionm for awhile

I've seen Evo 9 seats for like 500-600 and then 100 for brackets... 6-700 dollars and you could have a nice used set ready to bolt it.. the EVO 9's look SIIIICCCKKK IMO ... Good luck on your search bro!

Those seats don't look too bad... What will you be doing about brackets? They were a PIA for me when I was installing my Netami seat. I ended up selling it because I couldn't get it the right height. (The top of my head stuck out of the sun roof with it in there.)

you usually pay for a quality brand that has been crash tested and made with the proper materials to be considered safe.

any ways my point is OEM is not always better... and name brands could be the same (like my sparco bracket is off by an inch or 2 and the shoulder part of the seat touches the door..)

There is going to be instances and issues with a certain number of product whatever it may be even with name brand, that’s why companies have recalls.
But a OEM or name brand seat has been tested and abused before it ever goes on the market.
Something a shitty Chinese knock off brand is absolutely not, Im sure.



Its absolutely absurd how people will argue to know end about crappy ebay products and try to justify their quality.

Here is how things work people, ling lang buys a sparco seat and pulls it apart, sets up his factory to start pumping these things out with sub par materials. Cheaper steel, cheaper aluminum, cheaper fabric, cheaper everything he can get cheaper to maximize profit and undercut the competition. Then sells it on ebay and other shady places on the net. I mean seriously some of this stuff is infringement, illegal, and your funding it. The same people that complain about the economy, complain about losing their jobs, complain about the unemployment rate, ect ect ect. Yet choose to let a company that employs US citizens spend money on engineering, buying US material put out a product that hardly sells because some guys over seas bought a few and made a bunch of knock offs you would rather buy to save 100 bucks. all while endangering your safety, your family’s safety, friends safety, and people driving around you safety.

Start supporting your country and economy. Buy car parts, quality ones, not knock off shit.

They look cheap and overpriced to me. I just bought seats on eBay for $400 that were much higher quality. Those Netami seats will not bolt right in because you also need brackets custom made and that's about another $250.

Its about the same as stock. Its maybe 2 inches higher.

I just bought These seats off eBay and I just wanted to give some feed back to the community about them.

They are very nicely made and sturdy, the only problem with them is the size. I'm 6' tall and I have pretty wide shoulders. My shoulders dont let me sink into the seat. This makes them pretty uncomfortable. However, they do hold you very well. While my shoulders dont let my back rest completely against the back of the seat, I'm still inside of the bolsters. The bottom of the seat is pretty comfortable tho. I have a set of R-1 Racing seats that I've had for ages. They have held up incredibly well. Based on these being the same kind of seat I dont expect any problems with these new ones.

If your over 6' tall, I would recommend looking for a different seat, but if your looking for cheap... this is a good choice.

I also have those i believe just all black.....The biggest problem is the wideness of the shoulder area. Quality is preety good have these in for almoast a year no problems.

for cheap people that spend the real money on the motor

I just finished my driver side bracket today, paint is drying. I'll post some pics of the driver installed tomorrow. I'm in the middle of my megasquirt install, so I kinda got my hands full with projects on the ol beast.

Well you do realize those seats aren't "real" either. They technically are both "fake".
