Where can I find a stock t25 new or rebuilt? Im looking to just get this car running good, wont do major things till wayyy down the road.

Wow.. Sears sells turbos.. I'm going to tell you from experience that Godspeed is the same as those CX Racing turbos you will find. Cheaply made and cheap haha.. You are better off searching the classifieds for a used T25 or a 14b for around $100 or so and buy the 16g install kit. Ebay has used T25s and 14bs for sale and you can search craigslist also.

Godspeed is crap and wont last you long man. Its the ebay special of turbos. I used a godspeed 16g and it lasted 5 miles. So dont chance it and go with something you know will work.

And PS. Its not even for your car ;)

Lmmfao. Wow. This is....wow. This gives Hardware Store Turbo Setups a whole new meaning.

Answer : No - Should have already known this.

I just google searched t25 and it popped up. Will a 14b bolt into my stock exhaust manifold?

Yes it will.

I suggest start doing research in the "16g" install in a 2g.

14b and 16g require the same hardware to install them. They are both MHI (Mitsubishi heavy industries) turbos and utilizes the same parts (except the compressor).

this has a list of what will be needed/tweaked to make a 14b or 16b installed: Road Race Engineering's 2G 16-G Turbo Install Kits and Parts

Yes 14b works perfect with 2g manifold and o2. I think sears sells those turbo's for your lawn mower.ROFL

Personally, I feel it'd be more beneficial for you to buy a Haynes manual, download a few files from this site, and read some tech articles, enough that your eyes want to explode. No modding - period. Build on your education and understanding of these vehicles before you're back here in a week asking why your engine detonated.

I just want it to run good, im not trying to up the boost at all. I just got the car for free, and got it running after it sitting for 4 years. Needed alot of work but I finally got it started... Once I did I found out the turbo was toast, and its pouring out oil smoke. Im not looking to do any major changes for a while. It needs alot of TLC, and Im in the Air Force, about to get out and go home, where I plan on rebuilding this car 100%, while upgrading at the same time.

Then replace the turbo with a stockish turbo. A 14b or T-25 replacement, both of which can be found in our classified section, would be a great choice for you.

Depending on how long you've got left in the AF, I would just unhook the wastegate flapper and drive it like it is unless your loosing a lot of oil.

If your loosing oil, big-28 and a new gasket kit, bolt-on and go.

Unhooking the flapper would just let it bypass the turbine right? I could do that till I found a stock replacement turbo.

The smoke show it puts out is awesomely bad. I tried taking a video but there is so much smoke, all you see is grey on the camera.

If your smoking that badly, you should probably just grab a T-25, T-28, or even 14b/16g asap.

The T-25/8 turbos are bolt on and require no extra mods. The 25 is stock, 28 is a really nice turbo.

14b/16g would require an install kit. But the 14b is a pretty solid turbo and it is a helluva lot better than the t-25. The 16g would support around 325-400 whp airflow depending on size (3 size 16g turbos small/big/evo 3)

Cool, ive got 3 pms waiting and a text or two for guys with ones for sale. Im new to the turbo world. Ive have lots of v8s, 2 factory supercharged cars.

Well, start searching and learning amigo. Anything you need can be found with the search function ;)

i recommend a 14b pulled mine of a 90 laser i had and pulls much stronger then the t25 did. Didnt buy a install kit just used a steel braided oil feed off the head, and a 1g oil drain and had to bend the coolant lines a bit.
