Like I said before I just wanted to know if that universal type would fit in my stock flange with out mod the uicp.

Cool thanks. I have read and know someone that has this bov and it works just fine. He actually has quite a few EBay knock off parts but he told me NO moving parts... I might get it Im trying to find a used hks or something like that for cheap.

eBay Motors: BLUE TURBO BLOW OFF VALVE UNIVERSAL ACCORD CIVIC S2000 (item 130212359313 end time Apr-08-08 18:01:57 PDT)

I have HKS uicp and the stock 1g bov all ready do I have to have a special flange for this to work. Im not sold on the cheapies but just wondering so if i buy a bov I know it will work on my flange.

Thanks
Ian

Do it right, Do it once. Or, spend your money on it and post a parts review so we know if it works. Quite a few people who have bought cheap ebay items seem to enjoy them and not notice too much of a difference from the real thing.

Whats wrong with the 1g BoV? IMO spend money elsewhere like a boost gauge :thumb: before you buy a BOV.

HKS uicp
HKS turbo timer.
aftermarket Boost and Oil Pressure gauges
I belive it has cams (not sure bought the car that way) idles funny pulls really hard.
And im too lazy to take the valve cover off until i do the timing belt in about a month. (im also getting new lifters too)

Act Clutch

MBC

255lph fuel pump and fpr on the way probably thurs or friday

and im looking for a cheaper used set of 550 cc injectors

Hacked Airbox

So my BOV doesnt leak im really looking for the noise and im not going to vent it.

EDIT: 2 1/2 Exhaust all the way back with no cat

I was also looking at those tubular headers for this since i need to replace my exhaust many gaskets so might as well get the new header too LOL

Spray on copper gaskets or the tube copper gasket (packaging/tubing looks almost exactly like RTV Sealant) can be a quick and cheap fix for leaking exhaust piping. Try to avoid spending money on upgrades that aren't critical at the moment and save up for an EMS. If that car doesn't have any kind of logging/tuning software and it has cams and you throw all those mods on it you could be hurting your car more than you think.

Spend money to make sure that the car is in GOOD running order before throwing money at mods to increase power etc. or you might end up with a blown motor and lots of aftermarket parts on Ebay for me to bid on :sneaky:

I bought one of those as a temporary replacement after I cracked my stock 2g one. Beware, I stripped the adjusting screw out by tightening the locknut too tight. I had to use a bigger screw in the hole to fix it. Also, it's very sensitive. Too tight and you get a turkey call, too loose and it leaks. It has taken me 2 weeks to get it dialed in.

The universal fit might mean a section of 2.5" diameter pipe that has a flange on it. If you look closely, that's how mine is spliced into the flexible section of the 2g UICP.

It's holding pretty good for now. At least until I can buy a nicer one.
