I am wanting to put a wideband in my 1g, can I simply pull my stock one out and replace it with the wideband or should I just weld an additional bung?

On a stock car no you cannot do this. Ecu doesn't know what to do with it. ECMlink equipped cars can do this when set up correctly.I am wanting to put a wideband in my 1g, can I simply pull my stock one out and replace it with the wideband or should I just weld an additional bung?
Not to mention two sensors act as sanity checks against each other, especially for exhaust leaks downstream but before a WB bung, but also for having the WB sim to check if the NB is still operating correctly. From personal experience, even if you have ECMLink and can do NB simulation, I'd recommend putting your WB in a downstream bung and run both sensors. WB sensors tend to not last as long as NB, and WB gauges, at least in my case, can be temperamental and not always finish the boot cycle on first try (AEM X series in my case).
