Thanks for the response. I am running the .55 bullseye. I am still getting a little compressor surge, and I was wondering if it would help. I am using the tornado in the intake pipe and it is about 95% gone. What turbine housing are you using just out of curiosity? If you're running the DSM-flanged .55 Bullseye turbine housing, a billet wheel is probably a waste of money....that housing doesn't really permit even a cast HX35 compressor to flow anywhere near it's potential.
I do have the surge -ported compressor cover. I also have HKS 272 cams on intake and exhaust. I have stock cam gears. I found most of the compressor surge was eliminated from the Tornado. Funny but it worked.Does your HX35 have the surge-ported compressor cover? If it does and you're still getting surge, try dialing-in some cam overlap a little to reduce intake restriction. If you're still on stock cams, that's likely the reason you're getting surge.
What is this tornado you speak of. Pics? Thanks for the response. I am running the .55 bullseye. I am still getting a little compressor surge, and I was wondering if it would help. I am using the tornado in the intake pipe and it is about 95% gone.
Yes that is what I installed. I found out about this in the Buick turbo sitesIt the stupid infomerical gas mileage as seen on tv gimmick. Suppose to swirl the gas charge & make better mileage.

Yea thats the one I thought. I know the kid with the patent to that he got from his dad. Does it work? Not a clue. We've got one to test one of these days here. Skeptical that it'll do much more than cause a restriction thoughYes that is what I installed. I found out about this in the Buick turbo sites

It worked for me. For 20.00 it was worth it. What do you recommend for compressor surge? Justin gave me some ideas I might try.I'd remove the tornado if the previous replies haven't already made it obvious... it's not helping anything except the person selling them laugh all the way to the bank.
