its a shroud that goes over the hood release thing....this is for an evo and they look awesome.

They probably don't make them because they are 11-20 year-old cars. I'm just glad we still have as much available as we do for our cars.

I was actually looking at that a couple of days ago. It's supposed to redirect air back down to the radiator. I'm not sure about the 2G, but it would not work on the 1G cars. On the 1G cars the bottom front of the hood is not flat. It actually goes below the hood latch assembly - so basically it already does a decent job at not allowing air to flow over the radiator but rather thru it.

It's useless for a 2g. There is no where for air to come to work. None the less if you have an intercooler blocking it. I use to run one on my honda and it didn't help much unless look wise.
The best thing for cooling is the stock black piece that comes with the car located in the bottom front of the bumper, hands down. It directs air up to the radiator and engine bay!
But yeah! It would be cool to see it made!
