sealer for our cars

alright so I noticed that when you look on the site for info on what to use to seal your oil pan there is a ton or brands shouted out.

from ultra red, blue, black, gray, etc. etc.


have we all came into a agreement on what is the best?


I have heard these the most

permatex ultra black
permatex ultra gray
the right stuff

so out of those 3 which is the best?

Ultra Grey is the cross-reference for the factory sealant but people have used the others.

I use this on all gaskets like Oil Pan/Oil Pumps/Water Pumps/Intake Mani, Throttle Body.. etc and have never had a leak to date

i use mopar gray (i get it for free i work at a dealership) never once had a leak. as long as the sealer is oil compatible your golden. the mopar gray i use is oil and coolant compatible.
