Will this work on our cars?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that i am doing the valves seals only so the heads staying on the car. Does this not look like it will work?

I think you'd be better off working with the head off the car. Replacing the seals the way you're suggesting sounds a little precarious. Think what would happen if a valve fell into the combustion chamber...

With that said, I'd use the valve spring compressor I just linked to, or this one:

ya the one VelocitàPaola suggested works only with the head off. The one I posted from E-bay is made to work with the Head on the car. I just want to know if anyone has ever used one like this before or if this will work with our cars.

Ummm you have 800+ posts i would assume you have heard of this before. There is no need to remove the head just to replace the valve seals, all you need to do is put rope in the cylinder to keep the valves from falling in or it can be done by using compressed air.

Now If someone with some experience could gave me a hand I'd appreciate it thanks.

Basically will this fit or not. Thanks

Wow... ouch, no need for all that.

I never said it can't be done - in fact, I've done it before; but I've also dropped a valve in there and ended up having to take the whole head off too.

Most valve spring compressors (even the ones labeled "universal") don't work well on 4G63 heads; I was just cautioning you...

Well i don't mean to be a dink but I have read up on what needs to be done to do this with the head on and it will save me tons of work and money. I'm not asking weather I should remove the head or not I'm just asking If this spring compressor would have enough clearance to work properly thanks.

Well the auction has ended on this one, i guess to late for this one but would it fit if I found one like it? To me it looks like it would have clearance.

I have used this type of compressor on other engines, just not a 4g63. But for $10, its worth a shot. Or better yet, go to Autozone, this is the same type of compressor they lend out for free.
