Who still builds these engines?

I need a shop who still knows how to build these motors. Anyone?

I do, but I only do about 1 a year and I don't do shipping so my customer base is small. I have too many other projects that I/we work on which keeps us busy and the fact my machine shop man is slow as molasses but GOOD, so about 1 a year is all I can crank out if I have all the parts.

There are still quite a few random shops working on these cars. A few midwest "bigger name" shops would be MAPerformance and Boostin Performance.

And no offense, but you will pay for a name. What ever is close to you and is a reputable engine builder, they can do it. Nothing is hard but there are a few tricks that we all do differently to help things, but these engines are not difficult to build. I kinda think they are "fun" but they cost the same to build as my SBC's do.

He does auto trans rebuilds too afaik. Someone correct me extremely rudely if I’m wrong.

I would think that Buschur's still builds an engine also.

Map just did mine it’s being shipped to me they are very finicky of the cores you send them I don’t blame them at all
