Woodbury,
I am looking at replacing my BOV. I was looking at the Greddy XS, but I seem to be seeing people with Greddy problems aplenty. What BOV do you like? Why?

Also, what is a safe PSI for a stock turbo? I hear rumors that anything beyond 14 will raise hell on the engine.

Thanks for your help!

I'm really happy with my synchronic BOV. I need to take a proper recording of how it sounds recirculated. It's a good loud wooosh sounds with no weird high pitched action.

I'll vote for the GReddy type-S or type-RS. My RS sounds agressive at WOT, and just as mentioned above... similar to the HKS SSQV when I'm in lower gears/rpms. No leaks and holds great.

I would vote, the greatest, original, the 1g BOV made by Mitsubishi. A lot more sleeper then the Tial, you can re-circulate it and holds a good amount of boost stock, crushed or whatever other modification people can do to it, its great and is cheap.

Check out the bov mod on dejons website. They claim they can mod the stock 1g bov and ad a leak stop kit and it help 50psi! That are goin for pretty cheap too. This is what I plan on running this summer.

i have the tial 40mm and the turbo xs rfl, i don't recommend the tial because i now have some compressor surge, the turbo xs was great if you want a VERY LOUD BOV

HKS less likely to leak, but it would be cheaper to just run a 1g dodge mod. They sound great too and some say they are good for over 30psi

really a crush better then both of them. cause this is the problem. I am buying a intercooler and it asking me which bov i havw which is a turboxs but i want a better one.

The dodge mod...What's this?

I use the HKS SSQ and love it. It sounds awesome and even better, it never leaks. I used to have the Greddy Type-S and that was also a great BOV. I just prefer the sound of the HKS :thumb:

I just asked about this like a few days ago. No one would drop the DG mod on the 1g bov. Might as well join the club I'm doing it to mine soon.
