I know I'll need to make my own kit. I was looking at sumit racing but I need help making a parts list. (Angles of fittings and adaptors)?

Just some advice, i bought the RTM 12 an kit and pretty much the only things useful were the fittings that bolt on the oil pan and turbo. The rest i had to rig up with home cheepo parts. Used a copper 90 degree bend and hoses clamped to both ends of the fittings. Has worked great so far, pushing 30psi boost with no issues. Good luck.

Look at the hole for the bolt-on oil pan fitting tho, sure you're gonna have 12an hose, but then what's the point if the return restricts down to that tiny little hole in the fitting ?

Tomorrow I'm mocking up my oil drain. Check out the last couple pics in my build to see my idea so far. I'm using 3/4" npt fittings and 1" hose.

Edit: Oh I see they're saying you can bore out the bolt-on fitting if you want, I guess that's not terrible, but I'm making my massive oil drain setup for like, $30 bucks.

Yes but unless you drill out your oil pan this is the only option. You still relieve pressure in the line itself. With this setup you may get some oil backup in the drain but none in the turbo itself. At least that is from what i can tell.

Let me know how this works u have the same turbo I have I believe mine is the hx40 but I'm sure it will work similar ad I'm sure ou will have ur done before mine I'd like a direction on what to use I recently purchased a -10 fitting for a holset turbo an the hole does look a little on the small side but I think it would work alright but I don't hve much to go on

I'm planning on using a oem holset line that I got with my hx35. It's huge like 3/4" :). So tmoney your on the right track! It's really long to so I can just about bend it to the oil pan. Then I'll can either find another oem fitting and weld it in. Then mod the oil pan accordingly. Or some other an fitting and tubing that will fit. Should be perfect to run just a -4 feed! :)
And I wasnt saying the rtm one was the only one out there. Just what I saw in the 5sec of my search LOL. Pretty sure I saw extreme or stm or jnz had a kit too. Was another vendor on here for sure!

I would recommend you actually you get the 12 AN bung welded on to your pan. I love the way mine came out.

Just make sure you get some one that can weld, I had a buddy that thought he knew what he was doing needless to say it leaked on me LOL.

I was thinking of doing the weld in bung I have an extra oil pan so it's perfect for me. So I was thinking (weld on fitting to 60 degree to 45 ) and that should get rid of a gasket and restriction (needed for high oil pressures)

You really need to weld in a 12an bung. All this work to install a 12an line would be worthless because of the restriction. If your not going to weld the bung, you can buy a bolt on 10an kit but Holset requires a 19mm drain and 10an does not meet that requirement.

With that being said, if you have an extra pan laying around go ahead and have the bung welded in. Here is a thread and a video on how I did mine.

I just updated my build, not sure how my 3/4NPT-1" hose fittings will work out. I'm using the "s6" oil drain fitting, which is tapped for 3/4" npt.

@robertbaxley03 i've watched your oil drain video a few times, and got my idea from that. Was trying to make it even simpler, but there might not be a simpler way to do what you've already figured out.

I just want something even bigger than -14an, which is why I went with the 3/4" npt-1" hose fittings, so I have a mega oil drain.

Thanks Roberts for your posts I've seen the video all over the Web actually! Pretty good video I based my parts off it. Hope this will fix my problems with the turbo!
