i boost leak tested my intake and fixed the only leak... i cant test the entire system until i find someone with a bigger compressor...

i have been messing with the mbc and bov and got most of my problems to go away... but the car still smokes (black) when under light boost... when adjusting the bov and mbc what should i be doing? like if i go tighter what test do i do that will tell me if its helping? i have just been tinkering to get where i am now...

im assuming its running a little rich and i just want it to be right...

after resetting the ecu (battery disconnect) will it affect all the adjustments i made?

edit: sorry about the incorrect spelling in the title my u key is messed up

Looks like it works to me. Your shift key still works too! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Does your tested PSI stay steady? You shouldn't need that large of a compressor to fill the intake. It shouldn't leak so pressure should build quickly and stay put. Make sure you are using soapy water too.

the u key only works if i hit it really hard so i have to go back and put the "u" in each post... yes i am using soapy water and the compressor sucks... i can get it up to about 8 psi and after i fixed the one leak it stays pretty steady for a minte or so after i shut the compressor off

i forgot to say that i only tested from the tb elbow... i think i may have more leaks but is that the only thing i shold do?

I bet you have more boost leaks, I see from your profile your fuel system is completely stock? Go buy a compressor, owning a dsm you're going too need one.
yeah its stock... i only run about 10-12 psi

i planned on it... i dont have very much money at the moment

thanks guys
