Hey everyone just a quick question. I was looking at my stock intake "can" and noticed a clip. Thinkin it's some kind of sensor or solenoid. It's attached to two vacuum lines also. Located top of the 1gb intake. What is it?

Sounds like you're referring to the turbo waste gate solenoid, also commonly referred to the boost control solenoid.

Yes that is it. Thank you. Also I'm gonna do that mod now too. Haha. Any ideas on possibly moving it? I would like a cleaner look.

Move it wherever, so long as it can still be connected to the harness.

The other option would be to remove it completely and run straight waste gate pressure by using a single vacuum line from the waste gate actuator to the nipple on the j-pipe and capping the nipple on the air canister.

Would removing it still give the extra 1-2 psi? And can you explain more what I would do with the vacuum hoses and the connection deal itself? Didn't really look at it too much.

The main benefit provided by completely removing the BCS is cleaning up the area. If you are after that extra 1-2 psi, keep it installed.

If that's what you end up doing and you want to relocate it, it really isn't that difficult. Unless you want to dig into the rest of the harness to free up space or add length of wire, you're limited to move it only where the harness can reach the solenoid.
