Resolved What part is this?

I was inspecting my engine thoroughly today fixing some minor boost leaks and i found a part with the vacuum line not connected. It is almost directly under the throttle body elbow. Is silver, and looks alot like a 1g bov. I am curious what this is and what it does for my car. I tried finding what it is but too much random crap pops up.

Yes thank you very much. Forgot i had egr deleted but put the egr back on over cover. Should i have the vacuum line that goes to it plugged off? It was just hangin there so i plugged it back on egr.

You could leave it hooked up or remove it and plug it. Doesnt matter since you have block off plate on
